As England take on Argentina in the World Cup semi-finals, we’ll be out and about to help you support England safely.

The game begins at 8pm, and whether you’re heading out to the pubs to watch with your friends or if you’re watching it at home, we’re here to help.

Here’s what we’re doing:⬇️ 

🍻 Out and about: 

We hope and expect you won’t need us, and you all enjoy the game safely. However, we are there if you need us. Remember, scores are settled on the pitch, not in pubs, so if things start to get heated, walk away.

📞 Domestic abuse: 

We know tournaments like the World Cup can be a tough time for those experiencing domestic abuse. We have specialists from the Elm Foundation embedded into our control room, providing access to vital support and guidance from the very first call.

🚕 On the roads:

 If you’re planning a drink, avoid an own goal by making sure you’ve arranged transport home – whether this is a designated driver within your group or a reputable taxi. Alcohol will also likely remain in your system the following day as well, so bear this in mind if you’re up early tomorrow!
